System Requirements

You can drag guides from the vertical or horizontal rulers. (Use the "Show Rulers" option in the "View" menu, if rulers are not visible on your page.)

Guides are perfect tools for creating a layout grid on your page. For pixel-perfect spacing, rest the mouse pointer over a guide. It will show its current position as well as the distance to its neighbors.

You can move or remove guides by dragging them with your mouse or by right-clicking on a guide to access its context menu.

Click the right mouse button on your page background and choose "Guides". You'll be able to control the behavior of guides and save your grid for use in other pages or projects.

With your grid in place, simply drag images to the desired spot. The magnetic properties of your guides makes perfect alignment easy. Then, drag the sizing handle of your image to the next guideline to scale your image.
