System Requirements

1. Create a New Project
Choose "Site | New" from the "File" menu and pick a site template that will be used as the basis for your own website. Click "Continue" and give your project a name and confirm with "OK".

2. Customize and Add Content
The template web site supplies ready-made pages with working navigation links. You can customize the pages as needed, by adding, changing or removing text, images and other objects.

3. Personalize the Layout
Changes to objects that are common to all pages (such as the background or navigation menus) should be made to the site's "Layout Template". After you save an updated layout template, StudioLine will automatically apply these changes to all associated pages.

4. Changing Design Element Colors
You can also use the layout template to make global changes to the color scheme. Select a design element that you like to modify, then click the right mouse button for the context menu and choose "Design Element Properties".

The context menu option "Justification" controls the automatic alignment of items that you drop into the design element.

5. Publish Your Site
Open the "Profile" form the "Publication" menu to set up the FTP information supplied by your web hosting provider.

StudioLine will publish your site on the Internet or an Intranet. Parallel transfer channels are used for optimal bandwidth utilization. If you subsequently make changes to your site then the affected pages are flagged in StudioLine's site management database. They will be offered for upload when you choose "Publish" again.
