Integrated Image Editing

To get the most out of your images, edit them quickly, easily and professionally using integrated image tools. For advanced needs, the built-in dual monitor support is ideally suited.

Improve your images with numerous correction and effect filters, including rotate, crop, red-eye, pet-eye, auto-tone, white balance and color correction.

White Balance via Gray Point

With the while balance tool you remove color-hues simply by clicking in an area of your picture that is known to be gray. The split-screen image viewer is perfect for assessing the before and after effect.

Live Histogram

While editing, monitor the luminescence distribution of an image with the live histogram. Ideally, there should be an equal distribution of pixels in the hightlights, midtones and shadows of an image to avoid appearing washed out or lacking detail or contrast. The histogram promptly shows any image editing results, no matter which image tool is being used. This way, you can work with multiple images tools concurrently and assess their interplay with the image viewer and the histogram.

Security – Original Images Always Preserved

The settings for all image tools are stored with the unchanged original in the image database. This guarantees images without generational loss of quality while protecting your original. A stack display tells you in one glace, which image tools are currently in force for a particular image. Any tool setting can be reversed or revised at any time and changes take effect without a need to first "save" images.

Batch Processing

If several images suffer the same defect, then save time by using intuitive batch processing to copy filter settings to several images and then customize settings individually if needed.

RAW Support

RAW formats of popular cameras by Canon, Fujifilm, Konica-Minolta, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax, Sony, Sigma and other brands are supported. The extended color space allows for lossless editing of your RAW formatted images. Camera specific defaults can be saved.

Color Management with ICC Profiles

Color profiles define distinct color spaces for individual devices, such as
monitors and printers. When images are loaded, StudioLine will detect and use the available color profiles. Any  new color profiles are automatically added to a collection for later reuse.  You can assign color profiles to individual images and use preference settings  to associate default color profiles with certain cameras.

Third Party Integration

Application shortcut allow you to set up seamless integrations of the StudioLine image archive and third party freehand and bitmap editing tools.
